Timber Lane Students Visit Thinkabit Lab Experience
In partnership with Virginia Tech and Thomas Jefferson High School’s STEM Education Program, all sixth graders and 4th and 5th grade Young Scholars visited the Thinkabit Lab. Students explored engineering careers and learned about opportunities for the future. They also participated in hands-on-learning with an engineering project. They created a circuit and then engineered their idea. Through this career exploration and the engineering activities, students began to consider how to solve real-world problems using technology.
